After feeding 5,000 people, Jesus sent his disciples ahead in a boat and went up a mountain to pray alone. A storm hit hard at night and the boat got hammered miles offshore.
Around 3 AM the disciples saw something walking toward them ON the water. They screamed 'ghost!' Jesus called out, 'It's me. Don't be afraid.'
Peter โ being Peter โ yelled back, 'If it's really you, tell me to come.' Jesus said come. Peter stepped out of the boat and started walking on the waves.
Then he looked at the storm. The moment he focused on the wind, he started sinking. Jesus grabbed his hand and asked why he doubted. They climbed in the boat and the storm stopped instantly.
