He Prayed So Hard He Sweated Blood. His Friends Slept Through It.
1 NIGHT
After supper Jesus went to Gethsemane to pray. He told His friends to keep watch. Three times He went off alone, fell on His face, and prayed: 'Father, if there's any way, take this cup. But not my will, yours.'
He was in such agony that His sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground. An angel came and strengthened Him. Each time He came back the disciples were asleep.
Then torches appeared through the trees. Judas walked up and kissed Him on the cheek โ the signal. Soldiers grabbed Him. Everyone else ran.
